1. Who we are

iCali is operated by rApps by Felix Rappmund, [postal address — to be completed by the publisher]. Contact: [email protected]. By creating an account you agree to these terms. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

2. The service

iCali is a calendar app for individuals and groups: shared calendars, events, to-dos, availability, groups, file sharing and optional synchronization with Google, Microsoft and Apple calendars. The free tier includes up to 5 calendars, 1 GB storage and manual/periodic import sync. iCali is currently in beta; features may change.

3. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old. Keep your credentials safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Account) or per the account-deletion instructions.

4. Pro subscription

  • Prices: €2.99 per month or €29.99 per year (local store pricing may vary by territory/currency; the store checkout always shows the binding price).
  • Billing runs exclusively through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancel anytime in your store subscription settings (Apple: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; Google: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions). Access continues until the paid period ends.
  • Refunds are handled by the stores under their policies; your statutory withdrawal rights for digital content apply at the store checkout.
  • Plan changes: monthly → annual applies immediately (unused time credited by the store); annual → monthly applies at the end of the paid year.
  • Price changes will be announced in advance through the store mechanisms; continued renewal after the notice period counts as acceptance, and you can always cancel before renewal.

5. Your content

Your calendars, events and files remain yours. You grant us the technical license needed to host, process, back up and display them to the people you share them with — nothing more. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload and share. Data you export (ICS, data export) is yours to keep.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • upload or share unlawful content, or content that infringes third-party rights;
  • harass or abuse other users (the app provides blocking and reporting);
  • disrupt the service (scraping, overwhelming the APIs, circumventing rate limits or subscription gates, reverse-engineering except where law permits);
  • use iCali to send spam invitations.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, preceded by a warning where practicable.

7. Third-party calendars

Connecting Google, Microsoft or Apple calendars is optional and subject to those providers' own terms. Sync quality depends on their APIs; we owe reasonable care, not their availability.

8. Availability & liability

We provide iCali with reasonable skill and care but — as a beta product — without a guaranteed availability level. We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. For simple negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual duties (Kardinalpflichten), limited to the typically foreseeable damage. Back up important data (the app offers ICS and data export).

9. Termination

You may stop using iCali and delete your account at any time. We may terminate the free service with reasonable notice, and any service for good cause (Section 6). Paid periods already purchased are honored or refunded through the store.

10. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms with effect for the future; significant changes will be announced in the app with reasonable lead time. If you do not agree, you may terminate (Section 9).

11. Governing law & disputes

German law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules; for consumers, the mandatory protections of your country of residence remain unaffected. EU online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).

1. Wer wir sind

iCali wird betrieben von rApps by Felix Rappmund, [Postanschrift — wird vom Anbieter ergänzt]. Kontakt: [email protected]. Mit dem Erstellen eines Kontos stimmst du diesen Bedingungen zu. Zwingende Verbraucherrechte bleiben unberührt.

2. Der Dienst

iCali ist eine Kalender-App für Einzelpersonen und Gruppen: geteilte Kalender, Events, To-dos, Verfügbarkeiten, Gruppen, Dateifreigabe und optionale Synchronisation mit Google-, Microsoft- und Apple-Kalendern. Der kostenlose Tarif umfasst bis zu 5 Kalender, 1 GB Speicher und manuellen/periodischen Import-Sync. iCali ist derzeit Beta; Funktionen können sich ändern.

3. Dein Konto

Du musst mindestens 16 Jahre alt sein. Halte deine Zugangsdaten geheim; du bist für Aktivitäten über dein Konto verantwortlich. Du kannst dein Konto jederzeit in der App löschen (Profil → Konto) oder gemäß der Löschanleitung.

4. Pro-Abo

  • Preise: 2,99 € pro Monat oder 29,99 € pro Jahr (Store-Preise können je Land/Währung abweichen; verbindlich ist der im Store-Checkout angezeigte Preis).
  • Abrechnung ausschließlich über dein Apple- App-Store- oder Google-Play-Konto. Automatische Verlängerung: das Abo verlängert sich automatisch, wenn es nicht mindestens 24 Stunden vor Ablauf der laufenden Periode gekündigt wird.
  • Kündigen kannst du jederzeit in den Abo-Einstellungen des Stores (Apple: Einstellungen → Apple-ID → Abos; Google: Play Store → Zahlungen & Abos). Der Zugang bleibt bis zum Ende des bezahlten Zeitraums.
  • Erstattungen wickeln die Stores nach ihren Richtlinien ab; dein gesetzliches Widerrufsrecht für digitale Inhalte greift im Store-Checkout.
  • Tarifwechsel: monatlich → jährlich wirkt sofort (Restzeit wird vom Store angerechnet); jährlich → monatlich wirkt zum Ende des bezahlten Jahres.
  • Preisänderungen kündigen wir vorab über die Store-Mechanismen an; du kannst vor jeder Verlängerung kündigen.

5. Deine Inhalte

Deine Kalender, Events und Dateien bleiben deine. Du räumst uns nur die technische Lizenz ein, sie zu hosten, zu verarbeiten, zu sichern und den Personen anzuzeigen, mit denen du sie teilst. Du bist dafür verantwortlich, die Rechte an dem zu haben, was du hochlädst und teilst. Exportierte Daten (ICS, Datenexport) gehören dir.

6. Zulässige Nutzung

Nicht erlaubt ist:

  • rechtswidrige Inhalte oder Inhalte, die Rechte Dritter verletzen, hochzuladen oder zu teilen;
  • andere Nutzer zu belästigen (die App bietet Blockieren und Melden);
  • den Dienst zu stören (Scraping, Überlasten der APIs, Umgehen von Rate-Limits oder Abo-Schranken, Reverse Engineering außer soweit gesetzlich erlaubt);
  • Spam-Einladungen über iCali zu versenden.

Bei Verstößen können wir Konten sperren oder kündigen — soweit zumutbar nach vorheriger Abmahnung.

7. Drittanbieter-Kalender

Die Verbindung von Google-, Microsoft- oder Apple-Kalendern ist optional und unterliegt deren eigenen Bedingungen. Die Sync-Qualität hängt von deren APIs ab; wir schulden sorgfältige Anbindung, nicht deren Verfügbarkeit.

8. Verfügbarkeit & Haftung

Wir erbringen iCali mit angemessener Sorgfalt, als Beta-Produkt jedoch ohne garantierte Verfügbarkeit. Unbeschränkt haften wir für Vorsatz, grobe Fahrlässigkeit sowie Schäden an Leben, Körper und Gesundheit. Bei einfacher Fahrlässigkeit haften wir nur für die Verletzung wesentlicher Vertragspflichten (Kardinalpflichten), begrenzt auf den vertragstypisch vorhersehbaren Schaden. Sichere wichtige Daten (die App bietet ICS- und Datenexport).

9. Beendigung

Du kannst die Nutzung jederzeit beenden und dein Konto löschen. Wir können den kostenlosen Dienst mit angemessener Frist und jeden Dienst aus wichtigem Grund (Ziffer 6) beenden. Bereits bezahlte Zeiträume werden erfüllt oder über den Store erstattet.

10. Änderungen dieser Bedingungen

Wir können diese Bedingungen mit Wirkung für die Zukunft ändern; wesentliche Änderungen kündigen wir mit angemessenem Vorlauf in der App an. Bist du nicht einverstanden, kannst du kündigen (Ziffer 9).

11. Recht & Streitbeilegung

Es gilt deutsches Recht unter Ausschluss des Kollisionsrechts; für Verbraucher bleiben zwingende Schutzvorschriften des Wohnsitzstaats unberührt. EU-Plattform zur Online-Streitbeilegung: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Zur Teilnahme an einem Streitbeilegungsverfahren vor einer Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle sind wir nicht verpflichtet und nicht bereit (§ 36 VSBG).
